Election Is Massive and Impressive – Alao Akala
The Labour Party governorship candidate, Former Gov. Adebayo Alao-Akala has described the elections in Ogbomoso as massive and impressive.
Alao-Akala, who voted at exactly 2pm at his Sabo-Taara ward in Ogbomoso told newsmen that all was peaceful and in order
“If what we are experiencing here is what is going on all over the country, then the election is impressive and commendable,” he said.
The former governor said that the only hitch noticed was the card reader problem and we thank God that it is quickly addressed.
“The problem also happened here but was resolved quickly. I think the electoral umpire has tried.
“There is no problem as long as they have allowed people with accurate on their cards except the fingerprint problem to vote,” he said.
Alao-Akala appreciated the youths in the town for heeding their calls to eschew violence and be orderly for a peaceful election to be recorded and urge them to replicate the same during the gubernatorial and house of Assembly Election scheduled to hold on April 11.
