Nigeria Olympic team have begun the mandatory Pre-Competition Medical Assessment (PCMA) for the Rio Olympics, officials said.
The team had their last training on Monday so that the players could attend the comprehensive medical routine.
AS Roma striker Sadiq Umar was one of the new players who trained Monday morning in Abuja.
In the meantime, Coach Samson Siasia and his two assistants led the first batch of the squad Tuesday night to the training camp in the United States of America.
The second batch will fly out tonight.
The Olympic team are due to play a friendly against Mexico this weekend.
