Hailing from Ekiti State and born in Abuja, they were brought up in a lively city. With their primary education at Abuja International Academy and secondary education at Fountain of Knowledge International Academy, Uke, the twins went on to pursue different paths in higher education—Daniel studying law and David specializing in computer science at Joseph Ayo Babalola University.
Doubledstwins have achieved remarkable milestones, gaining recognition across various social media platforms. Their captivating content has garnered them a massive following of over 3.7 million verified followers on TikTok, 520k verified subscribers on YouTube, 1.1 million on Facebook, and a growing presence on Instagram. Their innovative creation, the D’SGame House, serves as a platform that celebrates the bond between identical twins and triplets.
The twins’ digital influence has also earned them accolades, including a follow-back from esteemed media outlet Shaderoom and one of Africa and America’s most prominent blogs, Tundeednut. Moreover, they received the coveted YouTube plaque and a gift from the platform for surpassing 100 million total views on their YouTube channel. In 2020, they were honoured with the title of “Most Populous TikTok Creator.”
Additionally, the twins proudly consider SamSpedy, the Nigerian YouTube comedian with the highest number of subscribers, and the Stoketwins as their role models.
Despite their remarkable achievements, Doubledstwins encounter various challenges in their journey, primarily due to limited infrastructure. Inconsistent internet connectivity and intermittent power supply present significant obstacles that disrupt their content creation process and hinder their ability to engage with their audience.
These challenges require resourcefulness and resilience to overcome, as they strive to maintain the quality and consistency their followers have come to expect.
Financial constraints can also pose difficulties, as funding is crucial for equipment upgrades and maintaining a sustainable content creation process.
