DJ Cuppy reveals source of inspiration of her new albulm

Nigerian Disc jockey and philanthropist, DJ Cuppy has revealed that her first and recent album titled ‘original copy’ was inspired by animal sounds.

DJ Cuppy speaking to CNN said the reason the album 13 artist was the fact that she wanted to express herself through other people.

Cuppy notes that she visited her family’s farm in Epe, Lagos, where she recorded series of ambient and animal sound samples used in the album.

I went back to my roots, where I am from; Epe and mixed with the locals for inspiration, I visited my family’s farm and recorded lots of ambient and animal sound samples. If you listen very carefully you can hear these in each track,”. She told Cable lifestyle.

Meanwhile Daily Times gathered that Cuppy said she doesn’t need her billionaire father anymore.
