Chief Ojo, a former Secretary to Kogi State Government noted with satisfaction the performance of Senator Melaye at the National Assembly and therefore urged the constituents to support and vote for him in the forth coming election.
According to the Director General of the campaign organisation, Senator Dino Melaye’s travails in the hands of the authorities was because of his defence of the civil servants and the entire people of the state .He described him as “the voice of the voiceless and defender of the oppressed”.
He therefore urged them to reward Dino’s efforts by voting for him massively so that dividends of democracy will go round.
Ojo called on the people to reject the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) which has brought hardship to the people
He said the only option remaining for Nigerians is to vote for the People Democratic Party (PDP) which has been tested and proved to be people friendly
Chairman of the Tailors union, who commended the senator for the gesture, assured that they will vote for Dino Melaye in view of his unequalled performance in the Senate
He advised the Senator to continue the struggle to redeem the state from forces of retrogression that is bent on pushing the entire people into poverty.
It would be recalled that Senator Dino Melaye has been on collision course with Kogi state government over payment of salaries of workers and pensions and other development issues.
