Delta State creates platform for interaction with potential investors

The Delta State Government yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aniwura International Project limited with a view to creating a platform for interaction between government and potential ivestors both locally and internationally.
The Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, who signed on behalf of the state government, expressed optimism that the MoU will be mutually beneficial to both parties.
Hon. Agas said the partnership would engender the desired platform that will further ensure the success of the policy thrust of the present administration, which according to him had a strong link with the SMART agenda.
He noted that this platform will further give the beneficiaries of the state governments Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurship Programme, YAGEP, and Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme, STEP , a new vista to interact with the world.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aniwura International Project Limited, Princess Iwayemi Ogomudia, said the organisation was aimed at providing opportunity for people to own, operate and manage business activities.
Princess Ogomudia noted that the partnership would enhance supply chain service delivery between the state and the world.
She said the platform will keep the people updated on event, policies and programmes of the state government.
The CEO commended the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for giving them the opportunity to contribute to the transformation agenda of the present administration.
