Customs FOU ‘A’ nets over N8.6bn
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone ‘A’ Ikeja, Lagos said over N8.6 billion was made as revenue from January to June 2018.
The Controller of the Unit, Comptroller Mohammed Uba who disclosed this on Sunday via a press statement said the amount was made through seizures, duty payments, demand notices on vehicles and general goods.
In his statement, Uba also disclosed that a total of 106 suspects were arrested within the period, saying, the feat was achieved through the resilience and doggedness of officers and men of the Unit in anti-smuggling activities and their dedication to block all revenue leakages.
