God is saying something about COVID-19-Federal Lawmaker

The member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam federal constituency at the House of Representative, Hon. Yusuf Gagdi, has said God is saying something about the dreaded virus, COVID -19.

“There is something we are doing God want us to stop. We use to cover our private parts, but God is now saying we should cover our mouth”.

Gagdi who spoke with some group of journalists on Sunday in Jos, said for God to allow the whole world to be on a stand still, there is something he want us to learn.

“We should go spiritual and humble ourselves before our creator, ask for his mercies and forgiveness”, he said.
Speaking on the effort of government in containing the scourge, the lawmaker said the Nigerian government has failed the people in terms of prioritising health oriented projects.

“Nigerian leaders are guilty including myself. We have not been fair to Nigerians. Government has not invested well. The health sector has been under funded.

“Government only react to issues when it seems to be ravaging us. When you say money should be invested in education and the health sector, some leaders will say no but rather money should be budgeted to department and agencies of government that has less security than education and health”, Gagdi said.
