COVID-19: Ibagun community intensifies awareness campaign
The people of Ibagun ward in Ilorin East Kocal Government Area of Kwara state have been urged to strictly adhere to COVID-19 antidotes and the total lockdown order announced by the state government.
The chairman of Ibagun Progressive Union (IPU), Alhaji Kuranga Morogun, made the appeal in a statement.
He said total compliance with the lockdown order has become imperative in order to forestall the spread of coronavirus in the area and the state at large.

“I wish to call on all members of the union to collectively key into community advocacy, enlighten our people on the need to comply with the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s directive on total lockdown, social distancing and the rules of hygiene,” Morogun stated.
He hailed the governor’s unique approach to the coronavirus pandemic in the state, noting that his directive on total lockdown is the magic wand for the present low record of COVID-19 cases in the state.
