Constituents assure Apugo of 2nd tenure

In an apparent move to assure him of his second term, the Ibeku East State Constituency has adopted the member representing them at the State House of Assembly, Hon Chukwudi Apugo for that position. This assurance came when the people of Ohokobe, Umuafai and Umuohu Ndume among other communities played host to Hon Apugo, adding that Apugo has done well. In their various speeches, constituency stakeholders including Chukwudi Victor Akpokeme, Mrs. Kate Amadi, Prince E C O Efuruibe, Chief Okechukwu Uche and Barr Azubuike Ogbonna expressed the happiness of the communities about the performance of the state lawmaker, adding, “We have seen a lot of his achievements”. According to them, party affiliation not minding, the entire constituency has adopted him, adding “Without PDP, there is no society”. “Senator Orji opened our eyes on politics. Without Sen. Orji, Hon Chinedum Orji, Hon. Chukwudi Apugo, and others, there is no future in PDP”, they said, adding “if Apugo has not done well, people will not come out to receive him”. Responding, Hon Chukwudi Apugo pleaded with the people to vote for PDP and wait to defend their votes. He reminded them the need to allow Sen.
