Buhari’s Health: Army Boss, Islamic Cleric Pray For Return

The Special Task Force Commander mandated to restore peace in Plateau, Bauchi and Southern Kaduna, Major General Ibe Rogers Nicholas and an Islamic cleric Sheikh Sani Jingiri, yesterday prayed for the return of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The prayer was made at a courtesy call by the STF Commander to the cleric who is also the Jama’atul Izzalatul Bidia Waikamatul Sunnah (JIBWIS), in his residence in Jos North Local Government Area of
Plateau state.
Gen. Nicholas said the visit is also aimed at fashioning out ways with the cleric to further foster unity among Christians and Muslims in Jos, an effort which he said has yielded obvious result in the peace
currently being enjoyed in the state.
According to him, “as we enter into the second quarter of the year, I thought it wise to come here and seek his blessings for the continue peaceful coexistence among the people of Plateau and to also join
faith with him to pray for the return of the President,” he said.
The Army boss who referred to the cleric as influential among his people, said he has influence his subjects on peaceful coexistence.
The Islamic leader however assured the General of his support and promise to continue to lead his people towards the part of peace for a united Plateau.
