It has come to a point where a governor is asking for emergency rule. In fact the governor of kastina state lamented that he is overwhelmed with security situation. “If Buhari cannot provide security in his own state, do you think he would provide it in Osun state? The National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus assured party members that the present administration of the APC in Osun State is temporal as the State will soon be restored back to PDP through legal process at the election tribunal. He said “never again will they steal the mandate of the people, never again will they seal the mandate of Osun state, they stole it temporarily but by the grace of God that will be restored”. While welcoming the new Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu, Secondus charged him to serve Nigerians, and be prepared to clean up the mess of the former IGP, Ibrahim Idris. “We encourage you to serve Nigerians that is institutions to protect the people and not to secure a section of people, not to secure a section of the cabal, but to secure all Nigerians.
