Buhari and appointment of dead people on boards of MDAs

“It’s very unfortunate that the Presidency doesn’t see anything scandalous about appointing dead people into the board of agencies and parastatals. This mistake and the statement by the Presidency shows how incompetent and disorganized our Government truly is”.

“The Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria (SGF), Boss Mustapha, goofed very badly. The excuse by the Presidency that Boss Mustapha did not prepare the list is unacceptable. Even if the list predated his appointment, a background check and a through assessment of the list by him would have eliminated these errors and saved Nigeria this embarrassment”.

“The Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria (SGF) is supposed to be meticulous, detail oriented and organized. This type of mistake scares me, Boss Mustapha is responsible for ensuring the effective coordination, monitoring and implementation of all government policies and programmes for the overall development of Nigeria. He is also the Secretary to the Council of State, the Federal Executive Council and other Constitutional Councils, which are chaired by the President”.

The Benin Prince posed these questions to Nigerians “Why does the Buhari Government continue to display incompetence and make us a laughing stock, why? And why is Professor Itse Sagay calling Nigerians who criticized or are criticizing President Buhari for appointing dead persons to board of agencies and parastatals “stupid and senseless”, why?”.

“This statement makes Professor Sagay look and sound like a senseless, uneducated and an unenlightened individual as opposed to the Professor of Law, constitutional law expert and Senior Advocate of Nigeria that he is, very unfortunate”.
