Breaking: el-Rufai absent, as APC passes vote of confidence on Uba Sani’s milestones

In a resounding show of support, the Extraordinary State Executive Committee Meeting of the APC held in Kaduna has passed a vote of confidence in governor Uba Sani, lauding his transformative initiatives and empowerment programmes as the immediate past governor, Nasir el-Rufai was not in attendance.
The highest decision-making body of the party in the state, comprising top public office holders, including National,State Assembly members, Local Government Executives and Ward Chairmen,commended governor Sani’s rural transformation drive and exemplary youth and women empowerment programmes.
The meeting, attended by top party officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and former Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, solidifies governor Sani’s position as a leader with a vision for Kaduna State.
This endorsement comes on the heels of a public spat between governor Sani and his predecessor, Nasir el-Rufai, over the state’s debt burden and allegations of mismanagement. The APC’s vote of confidence in governor Sani is a clear indication that the party stands with him and his developmental agenda.”
