Breaking: APC NWC inaugurates Edo primary Screening, Appeal committees

The National Working Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday afternoon inaugurated both the Election Committee and Appeal Committee for the Edo state governorship primary

This is in line with the resolution of the NWC at its 45th Emergency meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

While inaugurating the two bodies representative of the acting National Chairman, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the National Vice Chairman (South – South), Hillard Etta said the task before the Governor Hope Uzodinma – led Election Committee is to conduct the Edo state primary while the Appeal panel will look into complaint from the exercise.

Responding, Gov. Uzodinma said himself and members of the Election committee felt honoured by the assignment.

He promised that the eminently qualified members will do justice to the assignment and ensue that APC will win Edo governorship election.

Gov. Uzodinma said the present travail of the party was caused by enemies of APC, but all issues will be resolved and the partywill come out victorious

Reacting, the Sectetary of the Appeal Committee, Dr. Kayode Ajulo said members will do justice as impatial body to protect the integrity of the ruling party.

He said, it is a great challenge but with God, the committee will deliver.
