Boko-Haram Insurgents Attack Community In Benue, Beheads Family

No fewer than 16 people have reportedly been murdered in Ologba community in Agatu local government area of Benue in a midnight attack by suspected Boko-Haram Insurgents who attacked and beheaded several families in the agrarian community.
The attack, according to local sources in the community, was sequel to an earlier attack by the Boko-Haram Insurgents in Egba community which also claimed several lives as several houses and farmlands were reportedly set ablaze.
The recent attack by the Boko-Haram Insurgents according to Information gathered started on 12th February 2015 in the middle of the night when the armed Insurgents who rode on motorbikes stormed the community brandishing AK 47 firearms.
Sporadic gunshots were fired into the atmosphere as the insurgents moved from house to house during the killing spree.Several families were reportedly beheaded while others were shot in the head, it was confirmed.
At the time of this report, the number of casualties was said to have increased to 16 as slain corpses were said to have littered the community while the marauding insurgents set buildings and farmlands on fire.
Meanwhile, identities of some of the victims of the bloody attack were however confirmed by local sources in the community to include Gyang Bello, George Emmanuel, Chukwudi Chukwuekeka, Saliu Adamu , Peterson Okoyo,Mr.Gabriel Okoebor and Mrs.Hope Okoebor
