Bisexual Man Dies In Mob Attack As Partner Escapes Arrest
Tragedy struck in a remote community in Anambra State when two bisexual men were reportedly caught in the sacrilegious act of same-sex practice by suspecting neighbours on June 30th 2021 as one of the bisexual suspect was immediately confirmed dead in the ensuing mob attack.
Tochukwu Stanley Obasi and Chijioke Awoke were reportedly caught in the sacrilegious act of same-sex practice by suspecting neighbours who broke into the apartment of Chijioke Awoke shortly after the sudden arrival of his partner.
The angry neighbours comprising mainly youths in an interview claimed that the regular visits by Tochukwu Stanley Obasi to the apartment was enough to arouse suspicion amongst the neighbours as doors were immediately locked while seriously offensive sounds suggestive of pornographic videos emanated from the apartment.
However on June 30th 2021, all hell was let loose as the angry mob suddenly invaded Chijioke Awoke’s apartment where the 2 bisexual men were secretly indulging in the sacrilegious practice of same-sex practice under the intense sound of a pornographic video on the television, it was confirmed
The invasion of Chijioke Awoke by the angry mob was said to have been made possible as the locks on the door were open and not in use shortly after the arrival of Tochukwu Stanley Obasi, it was gathered.
Tochukwu Stanley Obasi and Chijioke Awoke were ruthlessly beaten up by the angry mob who unleashed terror on the bisexual suspects until Chijioke Awoke reportedly collapsed and fainted with his body covered in blood as Tochukwu Stanley Obasi was said to have immediately taken advantage of the distraction thrown up by Chijioke Awoke’s unconsciousness while on the floor to escape.
Instantly chased after by some of the angry youths, Tochukwu Stanley Obasi all of a sudden lost sight of his pursuers and escaped into a nearby forest, it was gathered.
Meanwhile, the corpse of Chijioke Awoke was however deposited in a local mortuary by the police who were later invited to the apartment.
A statement by the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police made available to journalists stated that 2 bisexual suspects were nabbed in the sacrilegious act of same-sex practice by suspecting neighbours in a remote community in Anambra State on June 30th 2021.
The statement further added that while one of the suspect identified as Chijioke Awoke was confirmed dead from the mob attack, his partner Tochukwu Stanley Obasi was said to have managed to escape from the community following the shocking discovery of the sudden death of Chijioke Awoke as neighbours made frantic efforts to resuscitate him back to life.
Tochukwu Stanley Obasi, according to the statement, was however declared wanted by the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police for the gross violation of the Same-sex Marriage Prohibition Act 2014.
In Nigeria, gross violation of the Same-sex Marriage Prohibition Act 2014 attracts a minimum of 14-years imprisonment upon conviction.
