Bayelsa adopts consensus candidate for Assembly election
No fewer than 13 communities that make up Ekeremor constituency two in Ekeremor Local government area of Bayelsa State have pledged their support for the consensus candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), in the forth coming State assembly election.
Ekeremor constituency two is where the current Minister of state for Agriculture, Hon. Heineken Lokpobiri is from and the communities with five wards includes Amabolou, Ekeremor Town , Obrigbene, Amanagbene, Peretorugbene ,Foutorugbene, Enogbene, Toru-Ndoro, Tarila zion, Tamogbene, Oweigbene, Tamo-Ndoro, Israello zion, Adazi zion.
Major stakeholders, youth groups, student community, elders and women Groups made their positions known in a rally yesterday at the party secretariat in Yenagoa.
