Azman repeatedly flouted maintenance guidelines – NCAA
The Director-General of the Nigerian Civil aviation authority captain Musa Nuhu has accused the management of Azman Air of neglecting maintenance procedures and laid down guidelines of the NCAA.
Nuhu who appeared before the senate committee on Aviation said this necessitated the suspension of the Airline.
He said there have been several incidences involving a particular aircraft owned by the suspended airline in the last 5 weeks which raised concerns.
The Director-General noted that the suspension is to enable the Authority to conduct an audit of the airline to determine the root cause(s) of the incidents and recommend corrective actions to forestall re-occurrence
