Asake Announces Fourth Studio Album Money

Afrobeats sensation Asake (real name Ahmed Ololade) has officially unveiled plans for his much-anticipated fourth studio album, titled Money. The announcement, made on June 5, 2025, via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, has already sparked a wave of excitement and speculation across the music industry and among fans worldwide.

This upcoming release follows the massive success of his previous projects: Mr. Money With the Vibe (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Sensational (2024), which solidified his place as one of Nigeria’s most consistent hitmakers. Known for his fusion of Fuji, street pop, and Afrobeats, Asake has carved a unique space in the global music scene with his energetic vocals, spiritual undertones, and Yoruba-infused lyrics.

Though details about Money remain under wraps, fans are expecting more of the genre-blending sound that has become Asake’s signature. Early rumors suggest collaborations with both local and international artists, and there is speculation that the album may include production from long-time collaborator Magicsticks, as well as contributions from artists like Olamide, Fireboy DML, and even a potential crossover with a U.S. or UK-based artist.

Money is expected to drop in the third quarter of 2025, although an official release date has not yet been confirmed. With his reputation for surprise drops and high-energy rollouts, fans are eagerly watching for any further clues.

Asake’s latest move confirms his continued dominance in the Afrobeats scene and heightens anticipation for what could be another record-breaking release.
