APGA victory: We will support Buhari – Obi

The victory of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State gubernatorial election over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued to raise accolades to the various entities involved the election process.
The election process was deemed one of the truest test of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in its execution of elections in Nigeria. It is generally agreed that the INEC conducted one of its best elections on November 18, 2017.
One of the special aides to the Governor of Anambra on Inter-party Affairs, Chief Ben Obi, who spoke to journalists regarding the just concluded election, expressed unreserved gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for his stance against corruption and election malpractice.
It was Mr. President who stood against the APC’s desire to execute their rigging plans on Election Day. We also know that without Mr. President ordering the top bosses in the Police Force to step down on the APC plan, the election would have had a different outcome“, said Chief Ben Obi, who is also known as Igwe APGA, as he explained that the APGA owes President Buhari much gratitude for saving them on election day.
The special aide to Governor Obiano differentiated between the APC and President Buhari, saying “We are not supporting APC, we are supporting Buhari”.
He went further to add that “we will work with the entire five states of the South East to return Buhari in 2019.
In fact, he continued, saying “with Buhari’s help, we will make the entire South East states into APGA states, Buhari has proven we are safe with him politically.
Chief Ben Obi expressed his change of mind over the person of the President following his exhibition at the Anambra polls.
The President is truly a good man. He is against corruption and injustice. I am truly impressed by those attributes,” he added. It is believed the President had stopped the police in their many attempts to subvert the electoral process to favor the APC gubernatorial candidate.
