A former member of the Edo state House of Assembly, Hon. Bamidele Oloruntoba has joined the growing list of supporters who endorse former governor Adams Aliu Oshiomhole for the plum position of the next National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oloruntoba, who is also a serving member, Board of Directors, University College Teaching Hospital, Ibadan in a chat with newsmen in Benin commended President Muhammadu Buhari, National Leader of the APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC governors for endorsing Oshiomhole as a consensus chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming National Convention of the party, scheduled for Abuja next month.
The former lawmaker, who is a current commissioner in Edo State Local Government Service Commission affirmed that the choice of Comrade Oshiomhole for the APC top job is timely as he will deploy his experience in party politics together with his national influence as former labour leader to enhance the victory of the ruling party in 2019 general election.
Oloruntoba, however enjoined delegates of the party to ensure that the choice of the former governor is realized at the convention, while pointing out that President Buhari had done enough research before zeroing his choice on Oshiomhole to be the next National Chairman of the party.
