APC mourns Principal Officer, shutdown office

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the closure of its National Secretariat, Buhari House on Thursday, in mourning mood.
The closure, according to a memo dated, Thursday, 10th April, 2025, signed by the Deputy Director, Administration, Ubagba Abel, is to mourn the passing of its Director of Administrative, Lateef AbdulRaif Adekunle Adeniji.
Adeniji was reportedly, kidnapped about two months ago in Abuja and since then, had been at the Kidnappers den until his demise.
A source at the National Secretariat told the Daily Times that Adeniji was killed, despite payment of N50 million Naira ransome paid, by the Party.

The memo titled: ‘Secretariat closure for the mourning of the Director of Administration’, advised all staff to use the period of mourning for sober reflection and prayers for the family, and his loved ones.
It reads: “The National Secretary has approved the closure of the National secretariat from all party work, activities with immediate effect.
“This decision was made after we received the sad news of the passing on, of the Director of Administration, late AbdulRaif Adekunle Adeniji.”
The Party prayed for the reposed of the soul of late Adeniji, and God, to grant the family and loved ones the grace to bear the loss.
The Party Secretariat however, will be opened on Monday, 14th April 2025, according to the memo.
