Another close aide of President Buhari reportedly contracts COVID-19

The Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to President Muhammadu Buhari, Sarki Abba, has tested positive for COVID-19, according to findings by DAILY TIMES.

Abba, who is one of the President’s closest aide tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago and had not been seen in the Presidential Villa since then, according to credible sources.

Sahara Reporters reports that persons who came in contact with Abba had also been asked to self-isolate, adding that his current status is unknown.

One of the duties of Abba at the Presidency is to usher visitors into the Presidential Villa when they arrive to see President Buhari.

In April 2020, the President lost his closest ally and Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari to COVID-19.
