Anambra Central: Umeh to commence 2019 constituency projects

The Senator who represented Anambra Central at the National Assembly, Sen Victor Umeh, has expressed readiness to commence the 2019 constituency projects for his constituents.
Sen Umeh said though he had served, but those projects were contained in the 2019 budget, which the President, Muhammad Buhari. signed into Law on 27th May 2019.

He noted that the projects which he sponsored at the National Assembly would commence in accordance with the 2019 Budget.c
It would be recalled that during the 2019 Campaign Tours of the 58 communities in the Senatorial District, he promised the communities that were not accommodated in the 2018 Constituency projects of provision of their projects but in the 2019 Budget.
He went further to ask the leaders of these communities to come up with the projects that their various communities would want in the 2019 Budget.
The Senator said he had carefully included all of them without exception, adding that he ensured that all the projects were approved and passed by the National Assembly.
In another development, Senator Umeh, last Wednesday, bid farewell to the former Chief Judge of Enugu State and former President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Late Hon. Justice Ezebuilo Ozobu.
A valedictory session was held for the deceased at the Ohaneze Ndigbo National Secretariat in Enugu.
Senator Umeh, who was invited to present the first tribute, described the Late Ozobu as an incorruptible Judge and President General of Ohaneze, whose tenure threw its weight behind the formation of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and chose Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu as the first presidential cndidate of APGA in 2003.

Not only that, Ohanneze, he added, endorsed and supported Ojukwu for the Presidency in 2003.
Many Igbo leaders paid their tributes including President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, who hosted the event. Others included Chief Chekwas Okorie, Chief (Dr.) Joe Nwaorgu, Prof (Mrs.) Uche Azikiwe, Justice Eddy Onyia Rtd, etc.
The body of the late Ohaneze president general was be laid to rest in his home town, Imezi Owa in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
