The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rescheduled three elections in the Anambra State House of Assembly seats.
According to the Resident Electoral Commission (REC), Mr. Edwin Nwatarali, the election for Ekwusigo Constituency has been shifted to April 25.
Others include one electoral ward, in Aguata Constituency 1, as well as Anaocha Constituency 1 and 11 respectively.
Nwatarali confirmed that hoodlums allegedly over- powered electoral officers in Ekwusigo Constituency and carted away seventy-five percent of sensitive and non- sensitive election materials.
He further confirmed that Anaocha 1 and Anaocha 11 State Constituencies did not make use of the card readers, rather they did manual accreditation, which the commission did not approve of.
He, however, confirmed that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) had won twenty-five out of the thirty seats of the House of Assembly.
