Amosun in Comfortable Lead

Incumbent Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun is set to retain his seat, going by the results from the 12 local government areas already declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Amosun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 177, 946 to the 92, 278 of his closest rival, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The Social Democratic Party (SDP) comes a distant third.
