Amb Adedayo Falusi: Why I made the Top 50 Entrepreneurs List

ECOWAS Youth Ambassador Adedayo Omolade Falusi has described his recent listing on the “Top 50 African as a consequence of his hard work, focus and risk-taking approach to business.
“Many have asked me how I earned this significant recognition, and my reply has always been that there is no magic but hard work, discipline and purposeful input in what I do. And of course, the grace of God, that alone is topnotch for me. Remember that the award is a result of nominations from people who have come in contact with me,” he explained.
Amb Adedayo Falusi, as he is better known now, has been receiving accolades in the past two years mostly for his entrepreneurial success and philanthropy.
The Babcock University graduate who studied accounting is the owner of the My IVAV Farmstead, a wave-making organic farm, located in Akure, Ondo State. He is also the founder of FAO Foundation, a humanitarian organisation.
Speaking about his entrepreneurial drive, Amb Adedayo Falusi said: “I have always wanted to go into business even when I was a young boy, and that was why I started even when I was still a student.”
He added: “I set forth on the path of entrepreneurship 10 years ago when I realized I had the zeal for entrepreneurship. I started with entertainment, and as it became clearer to me that working for myself will help me achieve what I wanted, I opted for agriculture because I love agriculture.”
The MY IVAV Farmstead boss who avowed that were he not an entrepreneur, he would probably have become a business developer or consultant, claimed has no business role model.
“I work with inspiration and I don’t have a mentor, but I admire the likes of Bill Gates and Elon Musk,” he explained.
