Alleged rape, armed robbery: Edo police parade dismissed officer
Edo State police Command on Tuesday paraded a dismissed police Corporal, Michael Eriarebhe who hails from Igueben Local Government Area of the State for alleged rape and armed robbery.
The suspect was said to have a tendency for crime as he is facing charges bothering on alleged rape of 17-year-old female suspect in police custody at Okhoro police Division in Benin.
Edo State Police Commissioner, Mr. Johnson Babatunde Kokumo, said Eriarebhe was said to have forcefully dispossessed unarmed Nigerian the sum of N5, 000.00 which led to his arrest.
He disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the State police headquarters on Tuesday in Benin City.
