Adeboye visits Buhari, prays for President in London

The General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Friday visited President Muhammadu Buhari in London where he also prayed for the president’s quick recovery.
Pastor Adeboye had joined the list of dignitaries who visited the President since he left Nigeria for London on medical treatment since May 7, 2017.
Adeboye is the second cleric Buhari has received this month after the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, visited him at the Abuja House, London on August 4, 2017.
The Presidency has not release any official detail over Adeboye’s visit at press time.
But the President has been receiving guests who visited him and wish him soonest recovery. On July 23, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Oyegun led a delegation of party chieftains to London to visit Buhari.
The president had also on Saturday, received a delegation of his media team led by the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and the Special Adviser to the President on Diaspora and Foreign Affairs, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
Buhari further received the Secretary General of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Mohammed Barkindo on Monday while the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives,Hon Yakubu Dogora, visited the President on Thursday.
