ADC presents party flag to candidates in Anambra

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, Party, today presented party flags for all its candidates for the February 16th 2019 General elections. The candidates cut across different contestable political positions in the state, including Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assemblies, among other positions. Presenting the flag, the National Chairman of ADC, Mr Raph Okey Nwosu revealed that ADC had consolidated its structure across the state and stood every opportunity to win victorious. Mr Nwosu regretted that the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari had crippled the economy of the nation, saying his party ADC had the capacity to move the country forward. According to him, “We have 108 persons on different political positions in Nigeria. The first referendum is on February 16. We must make judicious use of our vote.
“Igbos are being marginalized. No South East is in the security council. He added. Also speaking, the ADC candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial Zone, Hon TonyUche Ezekwelu noted that his mission was to promote and protect Igbos interest, to have a pride of place in Nigeria. Ezekwelu called for implementation of 2014 confab report to enthrone equal distribution of resources. He promised to promulgate regional autonomy in administering the affairs of the nation, so as to ensure absolute and speedy development across all nations. “When I get to the senate, I will move two motions. First, to outlaw the public officers and their children from travelling outside the country for medical treatment. “The second is to abolish and promote a bill on education. No child will travel outside the country for education. Our children must attend public schools.
“If we allow them to attend public schools, it will give room for academic transformation.” Ezekwelu added.
