Access Bank Deputy Managing Director Resigns to Pursue Personal Interests

Access Bank Nigeria Plc has announced the resignation of Mr. Obinna David Nwosu as its Group Deputy Managing Director.
The announcement made via the Nigerian Stock Exchange’s issuers portal on Wednesday, and signed by the company Secretary, Sunday Ekwochi said the resignation which came on the heels of his decision to pursue other personal endeavors, is effective from April 30th, 2017.
The statement read that Mr. Nwosu has confirmed he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company or the regulatory authorities.
With the retirement of Mr. Nwosu, the company now has fifteen directors comprising nine non-Executive Directors and six Executive Directors.
“The board will like to express its profound gratitude to Mr. Nwosu for his contributions and services to the company and wises him success in his future endeavours” the statement concluded
