Abia PDP wants 2019 Presidency zoned to N’ West

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State has said that the zoning of its 2019 presidential candidate to North-West was a part of their plans to take back its former glory from the Buhari-led All Progressive Congress (APC) administration in the country.
Speaking in Umuahia, the party’s State Congress Chairman and the out-going State Chairman, Sen. Emma Nwaka, said that although the PDP was not occupying Aso Rock, it was back, stating that Nigerians were disenchanted with APC as it had failed in its bid to fight corruption without convicting anyone.
“Almost a year now”, Sen. Nwaka said, “the country has been brought to a standstill with all boards dissolved and none reconstituted.”
The budget, he said was just signed the other day, stating that signing does not mean anything to him, but a mere proposal which depended on its implementation and, which, in turn, depended on availability of funds.
