A vote for Trump is a vote for destruction – Nigeria-US Congress Relations Chair
THE Chairman Ad-hoc Committee on Nigeria-US Congress Relations, Rep Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma has called on Nigerian-Americans not to vote for the Republican candidate, Donald Trump over his hate speech against Africans.
Agbonayinma who represents Egor/Ikpoba OKha Fed Constituency in Edo State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP made the call in a statement he issued yesterday.
Recall that the Republican candidate had said Africans would be shipped back to Africa if he wins the US polls.
In the statement read in part: Agbonaynima said” a vote for Trump is a vote for destruction as he’s playing the Russian script that will not favour anybody.
“His statement on Africans is a disgrace to humanity and it is unfortunate that Donald Trump is playing the script of a racist not only as a member of KKK but as well as standing as an apostle of the satan.
“America is not for sale and Americans should not fall into Donald Trump’s hands as he has decided to ridicule the USA.

“Donald Trump is taking the world back to the era of slavery that the forefathers of America fought so hard in building a better America will today be crying in their graves.
“This is not the type of America they foresaw as over the years while living in the United States of America as a real estate practitioner I was fortunate to listen to Donald Trump lecturing on real estate.
“I saw him then as a good business man who wanted to build a better America. I saw him praising former President Bill Clinton as one of the best Presidents America ever had.
“I also saw him pouring encomium on Senator Hilary Clinton as one of the best Secretary of State America ever had.
“Now today, he has changed from his former position as someone who loved the Bill Clinton family to someone who hates the Clintons.
“Today he’s speaking from both sides of his mouth. A man must be trustworthy because today Donald Trump is on trial in so many criminal activities involving tax evasion, molesting women and above all disregarding those who fought for a greater and better America because of his selfish interest.
“I’m appealing to all Nigerian Americans who are eligible to vote not to throw away their voting right. “We don’t want to go back to the dark days. “We want to forge ahead for a brighter future.
“Americans have been able to absorb all nationalities, different tribes, different ethinicity that is what makes America great. “Not only great but the most powerful country in the world.
“We wouldn’t want Donald Trump to turn himself to Adolf Hitler.
“So I’m praying for America not to miss it because we’ll be doomed if we allow Trump to be elected president of the USA.
“I was highly disappointed for a man I use to respect but only to discover the true colour of Donald Trump. “He has no moral justification to castigate Nigerians living in the US legally.
” Nigerians are hardworking people. Just as you have some good Nigerians unfortunately you also have some bad ones just as you have some great Americans you also have some bad ones like Donald Trump himself.
“You can’t use one bad egg to rubbish the many others.
