Late Dr. Adadevoh family disregards 93 Days movie

Things seem fury between the families of late Dr. Stella Adadevoh and director Steve Gukas over the just completed 93 Days movie which centers on the sacrifices made by men and women who risked their lives to save Nigeria and West Africa from the epidemic of the Ebola virus.

According to one of the relatives of the late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, 93 Days, doesn’t do justice to the life works of the late doctor, who is popular for curbing the wider spread of Ebola in Nigeria and as such disapproving the entire motive of the movie.

According to the relative, Kwami Adadevoh, the script was shared with the family only after it was completed.

“The inaccuracies in the movie do a great injustice and a disservice to the life works of Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh. Specific accounts in the script are incorrect and Mr. Afolabi Cardoso (husband) and Bankole Cardoso (son) are depicted in the movie without their consent. Further, the use of private information, as it relates to the medical records of the deceased, is morally reprehensible,” he wrote.

93 Days movie is produced by Bolanle Austen-Peters and Dotun Olakunri and directed by Steve Gukas.
