Ugwuanyi commissions projects in Ezeagu, decorates five patriotic league, others

The Executive Governor of Enugu State Government, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has over the weekend paid a courtesy visit to Ezeagu Local Government Council (LGC). During the visit, His Excellency laid foundation of Gburugburu 5,000 seaters ultra-modern pavilion and also commissioned other projects executed by Chairman, Ezeagu LGC, Hon. Chukwudi Fred Ezinwa.

The projects which were commissioned by the governor including, central store, neighborhood watch, education and West African Examination Council block,customary court building, Independence Electoral Commission ENSIEC LGA Office, citizenship right.

Others are 20 motorcycle for Neighborhood watch, works department, payroll and administrative office for effective and efficient running of the council, solar bore hole, tagged ‘Gburugnuru’ water for life.

While commissioning the projects, he emphasized that “Ezeagu is in the hand of God.”

Prior commissioning of the projects, Ugwuanyi assured the people that his administration would continued to ensure maximum peace and unity within the state, in return, he promised to do more interms of state development.

Ugwuanyi while expressing joy with the level corporation among the people, in ensuring this adminstration remains thriving, there by vowel to always extends a hand of sincere gratitude havimg supporting this administration for these years.

Speaking, Hon. Ezinwa noted that his administration also would continue developing the council within its revenue strength.

Accordng to him, the aforementioned facilities have been achieved only as a result collective efforts and teamwork from most party members and council staff.

He also commended efforts of Ugwuanyi administration in creating peaceful ambiemce in the state.

At the event were political stakeholders include Deputy Governor, Enugu State, Her Excellency Hon. Cecilia Ezeilo,Hon Commissioner for Transport Ike Ekweremadu Jnr, Enugu Chief of Staff Festu Uzor, Eze Ndigbo Lagos Chief Benjamin Ozoilo, Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Chima Obieze and many others. Traditional leaders were at present.

The day ended around 6:30 pm, with a visit to the Chairman lodge. Nevertheless the highlight of it was some constructive good will messages from model elder statesmen.
