NCRIB trains experts to boost Nigeria’s export
The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), has scheduled a two day professional training to boost the nation’s economy through increasing export opportunities and opportunities therein for the insurance sector.
The course scheduled for 9th and 10th August, according to the council centers on marine insurance, underwriting and claims administration.
NCRIB said in the published course documents that, the professional up course was fired by The desire and conscious effort by the federal government to rejuvenate the economy calls for requisite insurance inputs into the import and export business in the country.
NCRIB said that the recent executive order to port reform and the inroad into agricultural exports calls for increased marine activities.
“It is imperative that losses associated with import and export businesses need to be mitigated through thoughtful marine insurance for shipment of goods”
According to the council, the course on marine insurance, underwriting and claims settlement, will equip participants with relevant skills that would enhance competence of individual professionals, raise earnings of their companies as well as enhance the overall growth of the insurance industry as a critical stakeholders in the overall nation’s economy.
