APRA, Holmes host first African SABRE awards
African Public Relations Association (APRA) has concluded plans in partnership with Holmes Report to unveil its first African superior achievement in brands reputation and engagement (SABRE) Awards in May 2017 during the APRA conference in Marrakesh, Morocco.
The superior achievement in branding reputation and engagement awards (SABRE) which are positioned to recognise superior achievement in Branding and Reputation Management has been consistently held for over two decades in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, the Asia-Pacific, Latin America and South Asia.
Speaking on this development in a statement made available to Journalists recently in Lagos, APRA president, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya said; “The African Public Relations Association is delighted to have partnered with The Holmes Report to launch the SABRE Awards Africa. Recognition of the quality of work being produced across the continent is important, not only to industry players but also to clients. We are firm believers that recognition inspires continuous improvement and encourages a continued focus on skills development which is the main driver for APRA.”
“Entry for the awards closes on Monday, January 9, 2017, but with an additional payment, late entries could be tolerated till February 6, 2017” he added.
