4 years After Murder of Patrick Ayinde Police Declare Friend Wanted

Barely 4 years and some months after the gruesome murder of Patrick Ayinde, one of the victims of the October 20th 2020 #ENDSARS protest at the Lekki tollgate, strong indications emerged that the police have declared his fleeing friend Pius Osas Osadolor wanted after evidence revealed that they both embarked on the journey to Lagos State in early October 2020 .
Recall that the 2 friends both of whom are electrical technicians who had gone to Lagos State in early October 2020 to execute electrical jobs were caught in the middle of the #ENDSARS protest as it was later said that like every victims of the protest present at the Lekki tollgate, Patrick Ayinde was shot dead by the military soldiers invited to quell the rising tension.
It was gathered that the family of Patrick Ayinde received the news of their son’s death with rude shock as desperate efforts were however made to know from Pius Osas Osadolor how he was murdered.
Unsatisfied with the claims made by Pius Osas Osadolor concerning the gruesome murder of his friend, Patrick Ayinde’s family deployed unknown gunmen to Pius Osas Osadolor’s family house where property worth millions of naira were destroyed as they demanded to know the whereabouts of their son, it was gathered.
It was gathered that the thugs unleashed terror of unimaginable magnitude on the family as one of the unknown gunmen was said to have angrily kicked a bucket of hot water thereby splashing hot water all over Pius Osas Osadolor’s mother while his sister too was also not spared.
That on October 20th 2024, exactly 4 years after the gruesome murder of Patrick Ayinde, his family again stormed the family house of Pius Osas Osadolor in Benin City where they ruthlessly unleashed terror on his wife, mother and sister as they brazenly demonstrated their frustration over the tragic loss of their son, it was confirmed.
Following the long and tortuous journey to seeking justice for the sudden death of Patrick Ayinde, the case was however reported at the police station by Patrick Ayinde’s family and all the parties involved interrogated though without the presence of Pius Osas Osadolor who was unavoidably absent.
Meanwhile, a statement made available to journalists in Benin City by the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police further stated that it received with shock the report of the sudden death of one Patrick Ayinde which took place on October 20th 2020 adding that investigation into the case was ongoing as it was confirmed that the deceased had travelled with his friend Pius Osas Osadolor to Lagos State in 2020 for an electrical job but never returned alive.
The statement further added that while Pius Osas Osadolor’s whereabouts remained unknown, efforts are underway to apprehend him as he had been declared wanted for refusing to come forward to provide useful answers to allegations bothering on alleged murder of his friend.
