On 33rd ode-Remo Lafose day

It was a celebration of art and culture last Friday 27th of July 2018 when the indigenes of Ode-Remo converge to celebrate the 33rd Ode-Remo Lafose day.

The celebration started with a night vigil at Ode Remo town hall. The event which was sponsored by Hon Benjamin Olabinjo then followed by the environmental sanitation by the entire community. 

The seven days celebration also produced Miss Lafose, at ode-Remo town hall.
Aside the miss Lafose beauty contest  there was also Asiwaju Bisi Adegbuyi football match which was held at Ansar –Ud-Deen primary school, Ode Remo, and also DR(Mrs.) Vera Ngozi ,a Osokoya candle light procession held at Ode –Remo market square.

Saturday, the 4th day of  august, 2018, the grand finale and celebration day of Lafose came up at the palace of Alaye Ode, , Imaba Ode –Remo  with a lot of glitz and glamour where important personalities graced  the epoch event that  drew a lot of socialites from all spheres of life and beyond to the sleepy town of Ode-Remo.

The classic event which was  anchored  by experience and season radio presenter, Ajikeokin also  have Saheed Osupa on stage who  entertained guests with his scintillating performance that had a lot of people demanding for more

“It is a festival we do celebrate every year. Even our sons and daughters who could not make it here will celebrate it where ever they are. We will also use this opportunity to plan for my 10th years on the throne” disclosed Oba Adtunji Osho.
