22yr old woman stabs husband to death over phone call to another woman
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)have arrested 22 year old Veronica Boniface in Nasarawa state for stabbing her husband to death after she caught him calling an unknown woman.
The NSCDC state commandant, Habu Fari, said the woman was arrested in Obene town of Keana Local Government Area of the state following an intelligence report.
According to Habu, the husband was rushed to the hospital after she stabbed him with a kitchen knife following an argument about a phone call from a purported strange woman.
Speaking to newsmen, Veronica who is a month pregnant said she regretted her actions as she only intended to scare her husband with the kitchen knife but ended up killing him mistakenly.

She pleaded for leniency as her action was not deliberate
