Super Eagles have moved four spots in the latest FIFA Rankings and are now 44thin the world and third in Africa after beating Libya twice in 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
The Eagles are now top of their qualifying group for next year’s AFCON after they won six points off Libya – 4-0 in Uyo and 3-2 in Sfax.

Only Tunisia and Senegal are now ahead of Nigeria in Africa.
South Africa, who the Eagles face in a reverse clash next month in continuation of the AFCON qualifying series, stay 73rd in the world and 15thin Africa.

Group E bottom team Seychelles are 188th in the world and 51st in Africa.
