Zinox Group boss supports Innjoo to disrupt PC market

Leo Stan-Ekeh, chairman of Zinox Group has thrown his support behind Innjoo to compete favourably in the personal computer (PC) market in Nigeria.
Speaking at the public launch with Daily Times, Stan-Ekeh, chairman of Zinox Group, an indigenous technology Company in Nigeria said that Innjoo is already disrupting the PC market with their resilient, creative and innovative devices, adding that InnJoo is a technical startup born with internet DNA based in Dubai, and has become the fastest-growing company by providing smart devices and software services in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) area.
Ekeh recalled that the Company launched its presence in Nigeria three years ago partnering Technology Distribution (TD), a subsidiary of Zinox Group, in its quest to penetrate Nigerian and West Africa markets at large.
“When I looked at the Company, the owners, and their sustainability plan, I strongly believe they will cause global disruption in the PC market.
“They are disruptors in the smartphone market and with the latest PC launch which is affordable, slim and stylish, they are making bold means and we will give them every needed support to succeed”.
The Zinox Boss said that his approval of Innjoo products is based on the need for local and foreign products to meet and interact for cross-fertilization of ideas and mutual growth.
“For us as a country to achieve 100 percent local content in IT, we must learn from others, correct our mistakes and put the necessary structures in place. And no country is an island in today’s global village, this we must recognize,” Ekeh said.
InnJoo, it was gathered is venturing into producing its first Windows 10 powered laptop computer few weeks after the Chinese Mobile Phones maker announced its first 6GB RAM powered device; the Innjoo Pro 2.
Rakesh Rocque, country manager, Innjoo (Nigeria), also informed Daily Times that the laptops, Innjoo LeapBook M100 and LeapBook A100, super slim feather light personal computers (PC), selling for less than N100,000, can be charged using 10,000mAh (Milliamp Hour) power bank capacity, car-charger and above.
