Yuletide: Zamfara NSCDC deploys 555 personnel for smooth celebration
In the spirit of the festive period, the Zamfara state commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC has approved the deployment of five hundred and fifty five (555) personnel to safeguard citizens and their property during the Christmas & New-year celebrations, proactively.
In a statement issued by ASCII Umar Mohammed NSCDC Zamfara state Public Relations Officer to journalists in Gusau today confirmed that, CC Sani Mustapha approved the deployment to various worship centres across the fourteen (14) local government areas of the state to ensure peaceful celebrations; the security measures are intensified to ensure successful Yuletide festivities.
furthermore, He affirmed consistency and relentless display of professionalism from the NSCDC personnel through the Christmas and new-year season to maintain peace, order and fruitful celebrations efficiently in the state.
The state commandant averred, NSCDC under the excellence leadership of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi OFR mni, is committed to safeguarding the populace and protect the nation’s critical assets and infrastructure.
