‘Your election as gov victory for journalism profession’

The election of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state as governor has been described as a victory for the journalism profession and the media industry in Nigeria.

Publisher of Press Gallery, Alhaji Isiaka Mustapha stated made the observation in a congratulatory message to the Bauchi state governor.

Alhaji Mustapha said that Gov. Mohammed election is an attestation that the governor is not only a true democrat, but of his sterling integrity, transparency and ethical compliance which he has demonstrated for years in the course of his journalism, public service and political career.

While wishing the governor success as he administers the affairs of state in Bauchi, Alh. Mustapha said that “of course, Bauchi state couldn’t have been luckier with your emergence as its governor at this critical time.

“Evidently, you came at a point, Bauchi state was in dire need of physical development revolution as well as a well thought out welfare package for its citizens.”

He expressed confidence that the governor will justify the confidence reposed in him by meeting the expectations of the electorate who voted him into power during the election.
