Former Super Eagles skipper, Joseph Yobo, has said he will help national team Manager, Genart Rohr to turn around the fortunes of the team, when national team action resumes after the Covid 19 pandemic.
Not too long ago the Nigeria Football Federation announced Yobo as one of the Assistants to Rohr. Noting that his vast experience, leadership quality and relationship with the majority of the players will shore up the fortunes of the national team.
Yobo has played his football in France, England, where he played and captained Everton. He later went to Turkey from where he called it a wrap on his professional career, that spanned nearly two decades, He says he will work under instructions from Rohr but will use his vast experience and knowledge of the players to impact positively on the team.

Yobo, who shares the toga of the most capped national team player with goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has already acquired a Coaching Licence to broaden his knowledge of the game.
“Once this unfortunate pandemic is over the concentration will be on the AFCON, the World Cup qualifiers and we shall surely deliver”, he said confidently.
