Yobo on what he’ll bring take from Rohr

Joseph Yobo wants to enhance Nigeria’s defensive area while enjoying practical experience from Gernot Rohr to supplement his coaching studies.
“I want to add my quota to the development of the team,” Yobo told Brilla FM.
Having just over 100 caps including an AFCON 2013 championship while captaining the Super Eagles from the heart of defence, Nigeria are surely set to benefit from Yobo.

“As a former player and captain, I will like to bring my defensive capabilities into the team and I believe it will be a massive improvement to the backline,” added the 29-year-old new assistant coach.
The former Everton star concluded to confirm that he will be fortunate to afford himself real life learning experience while he simultaneously goes about his theoretical coaching studies.

“I also want to learn from the coach [Rohr] because he has done well since taking over the team and it will be an honour to learn under him whilst I also pursue my Uefa/Caf badges,” concluded Yobo.
