Yemi Alade confirms plan of signing two female artistes

Nigerian Afro-pop singer and Johnny Crooner, Yemi Alade has further confirmed her plan her to sign on two talented female artistes in the music industry.

The singer revealed this on an Instagram live interview with On-Air Personality (OAP) Sheye Banks.

The self-acclaimed Mama Africa said “I put out the word that I was going to do that and my email at the moment is full to be sincere, so I am going through every one of them because I want it to be personal because there is a lot of talent obviously and a lot of people have been sending their emails, and eventually Thank God for this time so I get more time to listen to what has been sent so far”.

The sensational singer, who is currently under a licensing deal with Universal Music Group, earlier in February posted on her Instagram and Twitter handles that she wanted to sign two female singers between the ages of 18 and 20 years old.

Yemi Alade recently teamed up with Grammy Award singer Angelique Kidjo to release Shekere off her latest album Woman of steel and In July 2019, Alade became the first African female artist to reach one million subscribers on YouTube.
