Yahoo boys’ apprehended with ladies’ undies, ritual items in Delta
Yahoo boys caught in Delta State – Police operatives attached to the Koko Division, Warri, Delta State, on Wednesday apprehended a group of internet fraudsters, popularly known as ‘yahoo yahoo’ boys who were en-route the state from Oyo State on a ritual mission.
The internet fraudsters, aka Ghana Burgers were nabbed at the Koko Junction at about 6:30pm on the said day.
It was gathered that the suspects, one of whom included Simeon, a resident of Uruhakpa and student of the state Polytechnic, Otefe, Oghara, confessed to have visited Oyo State for rituals
It was learnt that the suspects were nabbed with a box of luggage containing an old mat, ladies’ used wigs, lingerie, and other items wrapped in red pieces of cloth, on their way from Oyo State for rituals.
When Newsmen contacted the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, she said there was no official report on the incident. She, however, promised to get back to our reporter.
