Woman Cries For Help Over Threats To Her Life And That Of Her Daughter

The lives of one Mrs. Bose Osaro and her daughter, Miss Aigbe Sandra Liberty are in danger following allegations of several years of abuse, threats, mental torture, and rape prefer against her by her husband, Mr Owie Osaro.

Narrating her ordeals to our reporter in Benin City recently, Mrs. Osaro said that she and her daughter have endured physical violence, emotional torture, and rape at the hands of Mr. Osaro and all efforts to make her family see reasons with her have met with stiff opposition as her family always tell her to stick with her husband because men are the head and they rule over women, that once a woman is married, she cannot come back to her father’s house.

She said that he has been having a sexual relationship with his stepdaughter, Aigbe since she was twelve years old.
She allegedly accuses Mr Osaro, of making Aigbe take an oath that whenever she reveals his sexual escapades, she will die.

She said that he once tried to kill Aigbe by burning her, but the incident left one of her legs seriously injured. She said that in May 2024, Mr Osaro physically attacked and battered her as he demanded the whereabouts of Aigbe, who had fled after years of physical and mental abuse. In the attack, she was beaten and seriously injured.

According to her, in this latest incident that happened on January 10, this year, after torturing her and asking about Aigbe’s whereabouts, he openly admitted to having a sexual relationship with Aigbe and that his son, Osagie Osaro was also involved in an unholy and despicable relationship with Aigbe.

She further said that Mr. Osaro had threatened to kill Aigbe if she did come back and also demanded the sum of 10 million naira, money he spent on Aigbe’s education, and chased her out of the house and also took her younger daughter from her.

She also said that her family is making things worse for her as they are not coming to her aid after several incidents of assaults, threats, and abuses, she and her daughter have endured.

He threatened to kill both of them and she said her life and that of her daughter is no longer safe. And she said that all entries about the threats assaults and rape made to the police have not gotten any results.
